WEBSITE WIREFRAME
A wireframe is a blueprint or schematic for a website. It shows the website at a structural level and connects the underlying structure to the visual design of the website. Using a wireframe, our designers can show the content and functionality of various pages and establish a hierarchy of information. A wireframe also provides us with a concrete visual to more easily communicate to clients the design concepts of a site.
There are several components of a website wireframe.
Information design: outlines the structure and layout of the pages.
Navigation design: creates global and secondary navigation (with high levels of user experience always in mind).
Interface design: maximizes usability to make a user’s interaction with the website as simple and efficient as possible.
Wireframes focus the conversation on usability and help point out how specific features will work as well as areas that may need to be changed. The wireframe approach saves time, overall, on projects because it makes sure everyone from the developer to the client shares a vision of how a website is supposed to function.
