SQUARESPACE AVENUE TEMPLATE

The Squarespace Avenue template is a standalone template that is a great choice for anyone wanting to showcase photography, illustrations, or design. Even though it is one of the older templates still available, the Avenue has a fully responsive design. It also has a limited number of design controls compared to newer templates but that might be an attractive feature to those who have minimal time or desire to modify design elements.

An adaptive grid-based layout is featured in the Avenue template. Unique to the Avenue is that the grid is created from an Index Page and provides internal navigation to other items within the same Index. The headers and footers are also customizable and an assortment of line styles are offered to separate the header and footer from other content on the page.

Newer templates do offer more design options but the Avenue template is still a decent choice for creative portfolios or brands wanting to use a multitude of images to represent links to other content.
